65 suspects on criminal charges detained in Nangarhar

AT-KABUL: Sixty five suspects were arrested on the charge of different crimes in eastern Nangarhar province, said officials.

Police succeeded to arrest 65 suspects on the charge of various crimes in Nangarhar province in the past three months, Provincial Governor Spokesman Ataullah Khogainai said Tuesday.

He said that 26 kidnappers were among the detained suspects.

Nine people were also released from kidnappers’ lock up, he added.

Most of the captured indicts were handed over to provincial attorney office for further inquiry, he noted.

Operation against criminals will be continued in Nangarhar in order to beef up security and pave a better situation of people in the province, he underlined.
