76 insurgents killed: NDS

AT-KABUL: The National Directorate of Security (NDS) on Wednesday said that 76 insurgents were killed and 42 others wounded during operation across the country in the past 24 hours.

Afghan intelligence forces conducted six special operations, six airstrike and 11 joint operations in different part of the country in the past 24 hours, which as result 73 Taliban fighters and three Daesh affiliates were killed.

Statement said that during these operations 42 insurgents were wounded.

Also 11 terrorist were arrested and handed over to judicial organs for further inquiry, added statement.

One ammunition cache, 27 rifles of weapons, one suicide vest and five rounds of mines discovered and confiscated by Afghan intelligence forces during operations, noted statement.
