Atmar, Jinsong discuss broadening of bilateral ties

AT-KABUL: National Security Adviser, Hanif Atmar on Tuesday met with Chinese Ambassador to Kabul, Liu Jinsong in his office, discussing bilateral relations and his recent visit to Beijing.

The two sides emphasized on the expansion of bilateral relationships, join struggle against terrorism, regional cooperation and economic ties.

Atmar appreciated Chinese leadership for a warm welcome during his trip to Beijing. He urged the regional countries’ continued assistance in the Afghan economic and development projects.

Also, Chinese ambassador called Atmar’s China visit important, in which, important agreements and developments took place in joint struggle against terrorism, the peace process strength, regional cooperation and economic ties. They exchanged viewpoints on the implementation of the agreements.
