Editorial: Pakistan deserves no more chance

There has been always suffering and destruction, but now it seems to get rid of it with destroying hideouts of terrorists that causes these miseries. The Afghan masses have lost their dearest and nearest one in the past 16 years. Militants carried out several attacks in which killed a large number of Afghan men, women, children and military personnel. Terrorists infiltrating to Afghanistan from Pakistan—a hostile neighbor that has been supporting and harboring insurgency. One thing is very much clear that Afghan people will never let insurgents to turn Afghanistan into terrorist launch pad once again. It is as clear as day light that Pakistan providing shelter, food, weapon and other accommodates to the insurgents to keep flame of war in Afghanistan and also undermine US mission here. However, soon not only these safe hideouts, but Pakistan’s evil designs as whole will be dashed to the ground. In his new policy for Afghanistan and the region, President Donald Trump said: “We can no longer be silent about Partisan’s safe havens for terrorist organization”. He added that Pakistan often gives safe haven to agents of chaos, violence, and terror. According to Trump, Pakistan has also sheltered the same organizations that try every single day to kill our people. “We have been paying Pakistan billions and billions of dollars at the same time they are housing the very terrorists that we are fighting. But that will have to change, and that will change immediately. No partnership can survive a country’s harboring of militants and terrorists who target U.S. service members and officials. It is time for Pakistan to demonstrate its commitment to civilization, order, and to peace.” This is another chance for Pakistan to mend its ways by shunning supporting militants and stand sincerely with Afghanistan in fight against terror. But Islamabad deserves no chance as it always stab at back. At all times betrayed International Community and the US directly. The country’s physical approach is very peaceful, but at reality Pakistan is the mother of terrorist outfits—it has to be kneeled down. Plenty of opportunity has given to Pakistan, but yet to renounce supporting militants. But this time it would be last. US administration is seemed to get tougher on Pakistan. Afghan masses that have been bearing the brunt of causalities at hands of Pakistani-backed militants, would be grateful to US if hideouts of militants demolish there. There would no peace unless safe hideouts not destroyed. So the end of Pakistan double game is very much close. Persisting in duplicity, would bear worse consequence for Pakistan. Anyways, President Ashraf Ghani welcomes the decision by President Donald Trump, which shows an enduring commitment by Afghanistan’s foundational partner in this global conflict. The Afghan masses appreciate US and international community’s support for effort to achieve self-reliance and for a joint struggle to ride the region from the threat of terrorism.
