AT-KABUL: Police claim to have busted a gang of kidnappers in western Herat province with the arrest of four people.

Herat police headquarters in a press statement on Monday said that they arrested the kidnappers in Shindand district of the province. The arrested men have confessed their crime during primary investigations, it added.

The statement said that gang had kidnapped a truck driver a couple of weeks ago from Khwaja Aryan area of Shindand district.

It added that police were in pursuit of the gang members since long, and they finally managed to apprehend them.
