Four terror suspects held in Kandahar

AT-KABUL: As many as four suspected terrorists were arrested by the National Directorate of Security (NDS) operatives in southern Kandahar province.

The NDS said in a statement on Monday that Rawandi and Shah Mohammad alias Qudratullah who have allegedly organized several terror activities and suicide attacks were detained in a special operation in Kandahar.

The source added that Esmatullah and Lala Jan alias Tor Jan the two alleged suicide attackers who recently organized terror activities  and suicide attacks under supervision of Rawandi and Shah Mohammad by the order of Hafiz one of Taliban’s commander were also arrested.

The statement also said that 60 kilograms of explosives and two mines along a wireless and a remote control were also recovered from the detainees.

The source added that arrest of the men prevented different subversive activities in the province.
