Kabul, Islamabad need to strengthen bilateral cooperation: Rabbani

AT Monitoring Desk-KABUL: The Foreign Minister, Salahuddin Rabbani, met with Sartaj Aziz, Pakistan Prime Minister’s Advisor on National Security and Foreign Affairs, on Friday in Kuwait on the sidelines of the 42nd OIC Council of Ministers.

The two sides reiterated the need for intensifying bilateral cooperation between the two countries in diverse fields.

A statement from the Pakistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs said they also discussed the ongoing cooperation between Afghanistan and Pakistan in facilitating an Afghan-led and Afghan-owned process of reconciliation in the country and the upcoming Heart of Asia Conference to be held in Pakistan.
