Karzai sends condolence letter to Saudi King over crane collapse

AT-KABUL: Ex-President Hamid Karzai expressed his deep grief over collapse of crane in the holy city of Mecca, which led to killing of tens of worshipers.

Hamid Karzai has written a letter to Saudi Arabia’s king, Salman Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, to convey his condolences over the loss of lives in the tragic incident.

At least 107 people died and more than 230 others wounded, when a large crane collapsed at the Grand Mosque in Mecca.

Hamid Karzai in the letter prayed to Allah Almighty to rest the departed souls in eternal peace.
