AT-KABUL: The Afghan army discovered and seized 1,260 kilogram of hashish in southern Logar province.
“The 1,260 kilogram hashish was discovered and seized during an operation by army forces in Altamor area of Logar province,” said a statement issued by Logar press office on Wednesday.
The captured hashish was placed skillfully on five camels, which discovered by army forces, added statement.
Statement said that the smugglers planned to transfer the hashish to neighboring provinces from Logar.
No one arrested in connection to the seized hashish, but inquiry have been started over the case, underlined the statement.
It is pertained to mention that intelligence forces had discovered and confiscated hundreds kg of opium in Charkh district of Logar province last month.
