AT Monitoring Desk-KABUL: The commander of US forces and the NATO-led Resolute Support Mission in Afghanistan, General John Nicholson has said the Taliban and their supporters would never win in battlefield.

Addressing the participants of a ceremony held on the occasion of handing over the UH-60 Black Hawk helicopters to the Afghan forces, Gen. Nicholson said the ongoing war against terrorism is not only the war in Afghanistan and Central Asia and also not limited to fight against Taliban, Haqqani network, or al-Qaeda, but this is a war against the enemies of the humanity.

He said to the message of the coalition and the security forces to the enemies and their supporters are clear that they could not win.

He added the size of the Afghan Special Forces has been increased to double while the Afghan Air Force has strengthened its capability three times which clearly indicates that the enemies of humanity are the ultimate loser.

The NATO commander called on the enemies to refrain from supporting the terrorist outfits and the smugglers of the illicit drugs.

He also added that the Taliban group would not win as the international community, the United States, and NATO have pledged their commitments to support Afghanistan.  He added that Taliban have also failed to turn their dreams into a reality of capturing the provincial capital of the provinces.
