Three armed robbers detained in Kabul

AT-KABUL: Ministry of Defense (MoD) on Tuesday said that three armed robbers were arrested in Kabul.

In a press release issued here, the ministry said that Afghan National Army in collaboration with the National Directorate of Security (NDS) and Afghan National Police (ANP) arrested three armed robbers in Khwaja Lakan area of Paghman district.

Two AK-47 rifles and a Corolla model vehicle were also recovered from the robbers during the operation.

The suspects were involved in different armed robberies in different parts of Kabul. The arrested robbers would be handed over to the relevant authorities for interrogation.
