AT-KABUL: National Directorate of Security (NDS) arrested a would-be suicide bomber in Kapisa province, said an official source on Monday.
The NDS in a press statement said that suicide bomber was a resident of Kara Taz area of Kapisa. “The NDS operatives recovered a suicide vest, two Kalashnikovs, a pistol, seven grenades, 12 kilograms of explosive materials, and different other weapons from the would-be suicide bomber,” the statement added.
The arrestment came at a time that recently the Taliban militants have mounted their subversive activities across the country. A suicide attack in Kabul killed three people and wounded 18 others the other day.
