AT Monitoring Desk-KABUL: Afghan security forces have arrested a would-be suicide bomber in a military operation in eastern Kunar province, the Ministry of Interior said in a statement on Sunday.
The suicide bomber was held in Marawar district of the province where the arrested terrorist planned to carry out attack in the area, the statement added.
Afghan forces also seized two suicide vests from his position wherefrom the suicide bomber was arrested, statement furthered.
Marawara is a restive district in Kunar province which shares a border with Pakistan.
